We’ve been cooking a book all summer and we’re salivating to announce that our first print anthology, The Toronto Review of Books Tasting Menu: Choice Selections from the First Two Years, is tumbling off the press this week.
This Friday, September 20, marks the TRB’s second anniversary.
We’re celebrating with this feast of a book that serves up some of our favourite deliciousness from our blog and issues. Designed by Ali S. Qadeer and printed by Coach House Press in Toronto, Tasting Menu is both smart and pretty. Chatty and fascinating dinner guests gathered between its letterpress covers include celebrated TRB contributors Dylan Gordon, Meghan Davidson Ladly, Shawn Micallef, Matt Rader, David Ritter, Brett Story, Moez Surani—and you, if you like.
Official launch party and ordering details are all coming soon—suffice to say that the Word on the Street festival is this Sunday, September 22—so if you’d like one of the first copies of our awesomely good book, stop by our booth (MM7, towards the north-east shoulder of Queen’s Park Circle) between 11am and 6pm. You won’t go hungry.
