A little too much imagining for non-fiction Author of the (until now) best-selling Imagination: How Creativity Works Jonah Lehrer has admitted to inventing quotes in the book. The publisher has pulled the title, and is issuing refunds.

Poets in canoes (!) The Fish Quill Poetry Boat (“a group of artists… setting out on a ten-day poetry and music tour by canoe down the Grand River”) sets sail – er, paddle – this week, launching the tour with a performance this Thursday at the Tranzac Club (292 Brunswick Avenue). Thursday, August 9, 8 pm.

The Attys Wattpad has announced The Attys, a poetry contest named after Ms. Atwood, who will be serving on a panel of judges for the prize. The deadline for the first prize is October 31.
