Update on The Toronto Review of Books

Dear Readers,

I met a TV writer last week who told me she’d heard that The Toronto Review of Books had just hired a bunch of people. While she was misinformed (I’m hoping she gets her gossip from some extremely accurate fortuneteller), given everything we’ve got in the works, I’m not surprised by her intuition that things at the TRB are on the up-and-up.

We’re going to be making some thrilling announcements over the next few months. In advance of this news, I wanted to let you know that we’ve decided to change our publishing schedule.

No longer a quarterly either in practice or name, we’re going to be publishing writing all the time that speaks to questions that drive the publication.

We’ll keep publishing the same kind of work we used to save for our quarterly issues by featuring longer essays or poems every couple of weeks alongside our shorter posts.

We couldn’t be more excited about this next phase of the publication and everything that’s afoot at the TRB, and we know you won’t be disappointed by what we’ve got in store.

Yours always,

Jessica Duffin Wolfe
